Regeneration is necessarily regional. Buildings exist in a watershed. It’s the scale to consider when making decisions that affect air, water and ecology. The watershed, or bioregion beyond it, is the minimal scale necessary to supply the materials needed to build in a regenerative way.

Our projects need timber, wall panels, labor and capital. Threshold obtains these locally, in an effort to grow the region’s materials, skills, capital and trust.
